915 Deals (915deals.com) is a map of specials and deals in El Paso, Texas. You can browse the whole map without an account. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account details. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also get your name and profile picture. We never see your Google password, and we don’t ask Google for anything else.
What you save. Your favorite spots, coupons you unlock or redeem, ratings and reports you send, and your email and alert preferences.
Location. Only if you allow it, your browser’s location is used to show deals near you. If you set a home area for daily alerts, we store that area so we can pick nearby deals. We don’t keep a history of where you’ve been.
Payments. Memberships and Featured placement are billed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We store your plan, its status, and its renewal date.
Business owners. If you claim or list a business, we store the business details and deals you submit, plus your name, email, and phone so we can verify you and reach you. Business details and deals are shown publicly on the map. Your personal contact info isn’t.
Basic technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard request information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. We count views, direction taps, and calls on listings in total, not tied to your identity, so businesses can see how their listing is doing.
How we use it
To run the service: signing you in, saving your spots, showing and validating your coupons, sending the alerts and the weekly deals email you’ve opted into, handling memberships and billing, preventing fraud and fake deals, and answering you when you write to us.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. Businesses on the map never see who saved or unlocked their deals, only overall counts.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the site, and only what each one needs: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people from fraud or harm, or as part of a sale or merger of 915 Deals, in which case this policy would still apply to your information.
Cookies and browser storage
We only use the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings, like saved filters and an unfinished business sign-up form. We don’t use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. Because these are all strictly necessary for the site to work, there’s no cookie banner. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we’ll update this page and ask first where the law requires it.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we use only your name, email address, and profile picture, and only to create and run your 915 Deals account. Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except billing records we must keep for tax and accounting (usually up to 7 years) and copies in routine backups, which roll off on their own.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls in our database, and providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your information, we’ll tell you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from any email with one tap, change your alerts on your account page, and turn off location in your browser at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it by emailing 915dealsapp@gmail.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, including rights under Texas and other state privacy laws. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.
Children
915 Deals is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. If a change is significant, we’ll note it on the site or email you.
